This French necklace checks off all the characteristics of the typical retro jewelry, little to no gemstones (because these were more difficult to obtain during the war) and frequent use of gold. There is always a lot of gold in these jewels, in cheerful and pompous shapes. Goldsmiths showed all the manufacturing possibilities of gold by working and processing them in one jewel in different ways. Just like here: flat with waves, in spirals, just flat, detailed, twisted, in simple bar shape, ....
