This wonderful pendant comes directly from the floral Art Nouveau period. It features the profile of a lovely young lady. The background depicts a water lily which is also visible and detailled on the backside of this pendant. This 18 ct yellow gold pendant is marked with a French eagle head and signed by Rasumny. On the back we see the inscription Georgette à René   2-2-13 .

Felix Rasumny was a Russian sculptor and medallist who lived from 1869 till 1940. He settled in France and studied at the School of Decorative Arts in Paris. Since 1889 he exhibited his art works at the Salon of French artists and received a silver medal in 1911 at the World Exhibition.

It would not surprise you that we love everything about this floral pendant. We like the fact that the lily is well decorated on the front and back side of this pendant, we love the engravings on the back giving this piece some extra historical beauty and the lovely lady who is the subject of this pendant.
