For sale is this lovely bulky Rose Cut diamond ring. This Ruby Tank ring is made in 18 k Yellow gold and marked with a 18K mark. This type of ring is called a Tank ring thanks to to the Tanks of the Second World War. These tank rings where mostly created during the 40's and 50's and are a perfect example of the retro style. They are heavy, voluminous and have often asymmetrical forms.
A central line of baguette cut rubies steals the show, six smaller rose cut diamonds give the ring some extra sparkle in their white coloured setting. This ring and its lovely gemstones where loved before and have been worn a lot. Due to this, many of the diamonds and rubies have some smaller damages like little chips off. This is clearly visible in the pictures, but note that it is not at all very visible in real life with the naked eye. We adore this marvellous ring. It is Bombastic, yet elegant and holds one of our favorite diamonds, rose cuts.
