For sale is a Swiss Made Ebel Wave Sport, a vintage ladies' watch presumably dating back to the mid 1990s. This elegant two-tone watch features a 27mm by 24mm case crafted from stainless steel with a solid 18k yellow gold bezel. The dial is finished in a lovely Mother of Pearl, with gold tone hands indicating the time on raised Roman numerals. The case seamlessly flows over into the original integrated (yet removable) stainless steel bracelet, with the wavy pattern (of which the watch derived its name) accentuated in gold. The buckle is signed with the Ebel logo, while the original crown features a hexagonal screw design. A precise Swiss Made quartz movement animates the watch: a highly regarded Caliber 90, made by Cartier and used in a wide variety of high end watches by both Cartier themselves, as well as brands such as Ebel.
The example sold here has been worn, but is still in decent condition. The outside case has been cleaned entirely, but was left unpolished to maintain its original edges and curves. You will find some wear marks on the case and bracelet, but no overly coarse damage. There are a few minor blemishes to the sapphire crystal, but otherwise it's in good condition still. The watch face has aged well, with no real deterioration to speak of. The gold plating in the ridges of the bracelet has disappeared here and there.
