It is therefore no coincidence that a watch released under the renowned Ferrari logo, was engineered by Officine Panerai. This Granturismo automatic watch was released in a limited edition of 500 pieces, and features a typically oversize 45mm cushion shaped stainless steel case: a clear indication of its partnership with Panerai. Behind the sapphire crystal sits a grey and black dial with yellow accents all around. Luminous syringe shaped hands indicate the time on luminous Arabic numerals, and a date window can be found at the 3 O'clock position. The crown is original, bears the Ferrari "Prancing Horse" logo, and features an intriguingly engineered bayonet lock system. Inside the watch sits a Panerai OP III automatic movement, which is working perfectly. Fitted to the watch comes its original black alligator leather strap and Panerai signed deployment clasp, ready to wear.
The example sold here has been worn throughout its life, but is still in good overall condition. You will find minor wear marks on both the case and crystal, but no overly coarse damage. Said case has been cleaned entirely, but was left unpolished to maintain its sharp edges, curves and original finish. The wear marks are superficial and could be polished out with relative ease.
