Offered for sale is a vintage Swiss Made Pontiac Hydraulica Automatique men's watch, dating back to the 1985. Pontiac may not be as famous since it is a brand with Belgian roots, but its craftsmanship is up to par with that of Swiss brands such as Omega. The watch features a stainless steel case which measures 34mm in diameter and just under 10mm thick. The dial on this particular example comes in a subtle vertically brushed silver finish. Luminous stick shaped hands indicate the time, and a date window can be found at the 3 O'Clock position. The watch is powered by a renowned Swiss Made ETA 2824 movement, which can also be found in a variety of more renowned brands such as Omega (renamed the Omega 1120), Breitling, to name a few ... The watch comes with a fitting black leather strap with generic buckle, to complete its vintage looks.
The example sold here has been worn, but so little that there are barely any signs of wear. You may find very faint scratches to the case, but no coarse damage. The plexiglass has a few minor scratches on the left side, but is believed to be the original one and was therefore left in place. Despite not being signed, the crown appears to be original as well. The stunningly finished gold tone movement has been thoroughly checked, and is working perfectly. Please study the pictures in this listing well: they show the watch in the condition that it is in, with no digital enhancements to make it look better than it is. We are sure that you like honesty, and so do we. Included with the watch are its original dark brown Pontiac box, as well as an original Pontiac certificate dating the watch back to 1985.
