For sale is this lovely bulky asymmetric ring. This Ruby Tank ring is made in 18 k Yellow gold and marked with a French eagle head. This type of ring is called a Tank ring thanks to to the Tanks of the Second World War. These tank rings where mostly created during the 40's and 50's and are a perfect example of the retro style. They are heavy, voluminous and have often asymmetrical forms.
Three lines set with 16 rubies steals the show, their bright pink colour gives the ring some extra sparkle. This ring and its lovely gemstones where loved before and have been worn a lot. Due to this, some of the rubies have some smaller damages like little chips off or a little out of position. This is clearly visible in the pictures, but note that it is not at all very visible in real life with the naked eye.
We adore this marvellous ring. It is Bombastic, yet elegant and colourful.
