For sale is a vintage Swiss Made Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust ladies' watch with reference number 69173, dating back to 1996 based on its serial number. This classic Datejust configuration features a 26mm two-tone stainless steel case with fluted 18k solid yellow gold bezel and original Jubilee bracelet. Behind the sapphire crystal sits a stunning gold sunburst dial featuring ten factory-set diamond hour markers. Stick-shaped hands indicate the time, while the date display at 3 o'clock is magnified through Rolex's signature Cyclops lens. The original screw-down crown is crafted from solid 18k yellow gold and decorated with the Rolex coronet logo.
Inside the watch sits the Rolex calibre 2135 automatic movement, a highly regarded and reliable movement specifically developed for Rolex's ladies' watches.Functionally, the watch has no documented service history but has been thoroughly checked and is running accurately.
The example offered here has been worn throughout its life, but is still in good overall condition considering its age. The dial is particularly clean, with crisp printing and an undamaged finish. You will find normal signs of wear on both the case and bracelet. Said case and bracelet have been cleaned but deliberately left unpolished in order to preserve their original edges, curves and finish. The original sapphire crystal shows a few light blemishes, only visible upon close inspection.
