Pierre Balmain is known to have had a love for Middle-Eastern art and its floral "Arabesque" motifs, and made this a recurring theme for his watch designs. Gold tone dauphine style hands indicate the time on gold Roman numeral indices, with a gold tone railroad track surrounding the watch face. The crown is original and bears a black cabochon stone.
