All original, freshly serviced and working perfectly: a vintage Swiss Made Cortébert pocket watch. This piece was commissioned by the Turkish Railway company (TCDD) as shown by the beautiful decoration on the back of the stainless steel case. The front features a white dial with Arabic numerals, blue accents and Breguet style hands. A sub dial at the 6 O'Clock position counts down the seconds.
Inside we find a high quality Swiss Made Unitas 6497 movement, which is still in production to this day under the ETA 6497 brand. It is the same movement used in a number of larger high quality wristwatches, such as Omega, Hamilton and Panerai.
The watch was lovingly restored with eye for authenticity. Its movement was completely disassembled, cleaned and lubricated, and is now working perfectly for years to come. The outside case has been cleaned entirely as well, and a brand new crystal was fitted. A small blemish can be found on the dial to the left of the number "3", any other damage is strictly limited to acceptable wear marks.
