This particular model features a stainless steel case measuring 34mm wide by 33mm high excluding crown and lugs, and a thickness of just under 10mm. The dial on this Tissot comes in a rare deep blue sunburst finish with white crosshair lines and thick yellowish luminous indices, on which luminous polished steel stick shaped hands indicate the time. A domed plexiglass crystal protects the dial from the elements.
Inside the watch sits a manually wound Tissot 781-1 Calibre: a high quality Swiss Made movement boasting 17 jewels and a 49 hour power reserve. The movement was entirely disassembled, cleaned and lubricated, and is working perfectly. The watch comes fitted to a brand new Hirsch "Kansas" blue leather strap with generic stainless steel buckle, matching nicely with the colour of the dial.
The example sold here has been worn throughout its life, but is in overall decent condition still. The case is unpolished and therefore in original shape. The dial has aged fairly well with no notable deterioration other than a few minor marks. The hands show some minor patina, but the lume is still present and matches that of the indices perfectly. The plexiglass is brand new. The crown has been replaced, and is unsigned but fits the case nicely.
