For sale is a Swiss Made Rado Diastar ceramic watch with reference number 153.0383.3, presumably dating back to the mid 2000s. The watch features a curved rectangular case measuring 18 by 22mm, with a curved sapphire crystal covering the entire face of the watch. It is finished in a glossy silver tone with gold lines across the bezel, as well as matching gold accents on the lugs and bracelet links. The dial comes in a creamy silver colour with subtle grainy finish and raised gold tone indices, on which baton shaped hands indicate the time. The original bracelet consists of a combination of gold plated bridges and silver ceramic links, the latter being Rado's signature material. The double folding clasp is crafted from titanium. The crown is original and shows the Rado "Anchor" logo". Inside the case we find a high-quality Swiss Made ETA quartz movement with caliber number 976.001, which is working accurately.
The example sold here has been worn, but is still in good condition. You will find some wear marks on the case and bracelet, most notably some minor chips to the edges of the sapphire crystal. The gold plating on the clasp also shows some minor scratches. Please study the pictures in this listing well: they show the watch in the condition that it is in, with no digital enhancements to make it look better than it is. We are sure that you like honesty, and so do we. Functionally, the watch has been checked, received a new battery, and is keeping perfect time.
Please do note that the bracelet is currently sized to fit wrists with a maximum circumference of around 16 to 16.5cm. Decreasing the size is fairly easily done by removing some links, but to increasing the size past its current maximum of 16.5cm, spare links will have to be sourced online or at a dealership. Alternatively, any generic bracelet or strap with a lug width of 12mm can be fitted to accommodate any wrist size. The black leather strap shown in the pictures will be included with the watch.
