Offered for sale is a vintage Swiss Made Pontiac Bilomatic "Golden Arrow" men's watch with reference 45500, dating back to the late 1960s. Pontiac may not be as famous since it is a brand with Belgian roots, but its craftsmanship was up to par with that of the more prominent brands of those days. The watch features a gold plated stainless steel case which combines gorgeously with the deep blue sunburst finish of the dial. Said dial is finished with matching gold tone accents as well as a date window at the 3 O'clock position. The watch is powered by a renowned Swiss Made AS 1717 automatic movement, containing 21 jewels. The watch comes with a fitting blue leather strap with generic buckle, to complete its vintage looks.
The example sold here has been worn throughout its life, but is still in good condition. The case has been cleaned entirely, but left unpolished to maintain its sharp edges and curves. You will find minor wear marks on the case and lugs, but no coarse damage. A brand new plexiglass crystal was fitted. The stunningly finished rose gold tone movement has been freshly serviced, and is working perfectly.
