Presented is a U-Boat Left Hook Chronograph, a men's chronograph watch with reference number B45-08 LIO46M, dating back to 2004. It is one of the first watches released by Italo Fontana, as the company was founded around the year 2000. This particular piece is part of a limited edition of 1000 pieces, this being number 237. The watch features a fairly beefy 45mm case, with the signed screw-down crown and chronograph pushers found on the left side of the case. The dial on this particular example comes in a matte black finish with white and green accents. Both the numerals, indices and hands are luminous. Inside the watch cosily sits a Miyota 0s30 quartz movement, which is accurately keeping time. It comes fitted to a brand new dark blue leather strap with white stitching, as well as its original and signed U-boat deployment clasp.
The example sold here has been worn throughout its life, but is still in decent condition. You will find some wear marks on the case when closely examining the watch, most notably on the bezel.
