All original, freshly serviced and working perfectly: a vintage Swiss Made Tissot pocket watch. This piece dates back to the late 1940s-early 1950s based on the movement, its stainless steel case measuring 46mm wide and 9mm thick. The front features a silvery, subtle vertically brushed dial with gold tone numerals around the outer edge. A sub dial at the 6 O'Clock position counts down the seconds, while gold leaf shaped hands indicate the hours and minutes. Inside we find a Swiss Made Cal. 38.2 movement, made and signed by Chs. Tissot & Fils.
The watch was lovingly restored with eye for authenticity. Its movement was completely disassembled, cleaned and lubricated, and is now working perfectly for years to come. The outside case has been cleaned entirely as well, but left unpolished to maintain its patina and originality. A brand new plexiglass crystal was fitted. In all, a very well preserved and fully functional piece of Tissot history.
