It is decorated with breath taking 3D flower, adorned with small seed pearls. The locket is 'open' on the front thanks to the lines in between these star shaped legs, therefore it can also keep a scent you adore. A piece of fabric perfumed with your lovers cologne for example. The back of the locket holds a smaller oval door, where you can place your lovers picture.

This stunning locket is hallmarked with French 'horse head' and is in very good condition considering its age. This particular hors-head hallmark is a French hallmark that was set in gold jewelry between 1838 and 1919. Meaning that this pendant which is dating back to the French Napoleon III period during English Queen Victoria's reign. In this period Queen Victoria lost her beloved King Albert, therefore mourning jewellery became more popular in this period.
