For sale is this wonderful St. Christopher charm pendant crafted in 18ct yellow gold. Saint Christopher is the patron saint of all travellers. Christopher means 'Christ bearer' in Greek, or freely translated the one who carries Christ. This wonderful beauty is hallmarked with a French eagle head hallmark and is engraved with the name of the maker on the bottom right. On the front we also read the words "Regarde St Christophe - puis va-t-en rassuré" freely translated to "Look at St Christophe - then go reassured" On the back of this round medallion we see the wonderful hand engraved initials DD.
This wonderful pendant is in good condition considering its age. The previous owner attached great importance to this pendant. This person has often rubbed over the pendant so that the most superimposed details of this pendant are a bit blurred, this makes this pendant even more beautiful in our opinion.
