For sale is a Swiss Made Tissot Seastar Seven Automatic watch with reference number R43/44547-33, dating back to the 1970's. The 33.5mm case is made of solid 18k yellow gold, and boasts a very refined dress watch design with stylish thin lugs. Behind the crystal sits a champagne dial with very subtle vertical brush finish. Gold tone indices with black accents can be found around the outer rim, with gold tone lumed pencil style hands fitting perfectly into the elegant and minimalist watch face. A date window can be seen at the 3 O'clock position, which can be quickly adjusted by repeatedly pushing the crown. Said crown is original and bears the Tissot logo.
The watch is powered by a high grade Calibre 2481, an automatic movement with 21 jewels and sweep seconds hand. It is identical to the Omega 1481 movement, an indication of its quality. The watch has been fully serviced and is keeping time perfectly. It comes fitted to a brand new black strap with original Tissot signed buckle, of which the gold plating has faded a bit.
The example sold here has been worn throughout its life, but is still in lovely condition considering its age. You will find some slight marks on the case when closely examining the watch. Said case is unpolished and therefore in original shape, with sharp edges and curves. The crystal is brand new. Underneath said crystal, the dial is almost spotless with no real deterioration to speak of.
