It features an 18k solid yellow gold case with typical Constellation "griffes" on either side, and black Roman numerals on the bezel surrounding the dial. Said dial features a matte gold finish with outer railroad track, and two smaller sub dials depicting both the day and date. The watch is lovingly nicknamed the "Owl", for reasons that need no explanation once you see it. Inside the watch sits a high quality quartz movement that is working accurately: a Cal. 1444 mechanism with 6 jewels. It comes fitted to an original black leather Omega strap with original gold plated buckle. The strap is ever so slightly worn, but looks close to brand new still.
The example sold here has been worn, but is in good condition considering its age. You will find wear marks on the case and bezel, but no overly coarse damage. The case has been cleaned thoroughly, but was left unpolished to maintain its original edges and curves. The sapphire crystal looks unscathed to the naked eye.
