For sale is a Swiss Made Jaeger-LeCoultre Ladies' cocktail watch with reference number 960, which can be dated back to the 1950's. The watch features a square solid 18k white gold case and integrated mesh bracelet, and factory diamond set bezel with 24 0.03ct brilliant cut diamonds for a total estimate of 0.72ct. The dial is finished in a subtle silver sunburst look, with minimalist baton style hands and non-numeral indexes. The crown is original, and bears the JLC logo. Inside the watch we find a renowned Jaeger-LeCoultre manual winding movement, which has been freshly serviced and is working perfectly.

Please do note that the bracelet of this watch style is not easily shortened or increased. It currently fits wrists with a circumference of about 19,5cm at maximum. Only a highly skilled jeweller might be able to adapt the bracelet to change the size by resoldering the clasp.

The example sold here has been worn throughout its life, but is still in good condition considering its age. You will find some marks on the case when closely examining the watch. The case is unpolished and therefore in original shape. The dial has developed some stains during its 70 years of existence, but this adds to the history of the watch. Please study the pictures in this listing well: they show the watch in the condition that it is in, with no digital enhancements to make it look better than it is. We are sure that you like honesty, and so do we. Functionally, the watch has been serviced prior to sale and is working perfectly.

The watch comes without any paperwork or original box, but evidently we will provide a generic box to ship it to the buyer safe and sound. The item ships from Belgium and will be securely packaged and dispatched using the local postal service (BPost).
