For sale is a Swiss Made Cartier "Panthère Vendôme" or "Ronde" watch with reference number 66920, presumably dating back to the early 2000s. This iconic design features a round 24mm case with solid gold bezel. Behind the sapphire crystal sits a matte creamy off-white/champagne dial with typical Cartier black Roman numerals and a so-called railroad minute track. Blued steel hands indicate the hours and minutes. The crown is original and features the trademark blue sapphire cabochon stone. Inside, we find a Swiss Made Cartier Calibre 66, a high quality quartz movement with 6 jewels which is working perfectly.
The example sold here has been worn, but is still in good condition. You will find normal wear marks on the case when closely examining the watch, but no coarse damage. The watch is unpolished and therefore in original shape, with sharp lines and edges. The sapphire crystal looks unscathed to the naked eye. Please study the pictures in this listing well: they show the watch in the condition that it is in, with no digital enhancements to make it look better than it is. We are sure that you like honesty, and so do we. Functionally, the watch was checked, received a new battery and is accurately keeping time with less than 1 second per day deviation. The watch comes fitted to its original two-tone stainless steel and 18k solid yellow gold bracelet with hidden folding clasp. Please be aware that said bracelet is currently sized to fit a wrist with maximum circumference of around 17cm. Resizing the bracelet to fit smaller wrists can easily be done by removing some links. In order to increase the size of the bracelet past 17cm, extra bracelet links will have to be sourced online or at a dealership.
