Offered for sale is a vintage Swiss Made Omega Seamaster 600 men's dress watch with reference 136.012, dating back to 1966 based on its serial number. The watch features a relatively small and slender stainless steel case, which measures 32mm in diameter and just under 11mm in thickness. The dial on this particular example comes in a creamy silvery champagne sunburst finish. Polished stick shaped hands indicate the time on stainless steel indices. A calendar window can be found at the 3 O'clock position. Inside the watch sits a renowned Omega 611 manually wound movement, which is working perfectly. The watch comes accompanied by two high quality Hirsch straps: one "Boston" brown strap with contrast stitching, and one "Kansas" green strap. Both straps feature quick release spring bars, allowing the owner to change things up with ease.
The example sold here has been worn, but is still in decent condition considering its age. You will certainly find wear marks on the case and lugs, but no overly coarse damage. The case has been cleaned thoroughly, but was left unpolished to maintain its original edges and curves. The back shows some wear from being worn on a Perlon strap. A brand new and all original Omega PZ5042 plexiglass crystal was fitted, complete with Omega hallmark in the center. The crown is also brand new, original and signed with the Omega logo. The dial was once most likely a silver tone, but has discoloured slightly over the years into a relatively uniform champagne tint with uniformly spread patina throughout.
Functionally, the watch has received a full service prior to sale and is working perfectly. The movement was entirely disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and regulated.
