Solvil & Titus might not be as famous as a vintage watch brand, but has been around since 1887 and made a number of highly regarded timepieces. One of them is this "President" model: it features a fairly large yet refined and very thin gold plated case which measures 35mm in diameter and is just 6.3mm thick. The dial on this particular example comes in a glossy silvery champagne sunburst finish with black and gold indices. Inside the watch sits a highly regarded Swiss made manual winding movement: the Peseux 7000. The crown is unsigned yet appears to be the original based on other examples. The watch comes fitted to a brand new black leather strap with generic buckle, ready to wear.
The example sold here has been lightly worn, but is in close to new condition. You will not find any better preserved examples than this one: it even has the original "Titus" sticker on the case back. The watch was lovingly serviced with eye for authenticity. Its movement was completely disassembled, cleaned and lubricated, and is working perfectly. The outside case has been cleaned entirely, but left unpolished to maintain its sharp edges and curves. The crystal looks to be in close to perfect condition as well.
