For sale is this colourful Art Deco mother Mary pendant. This miraculous charm depicts a lovely virgin Mary. A golden halo with dots is encircling her head as light streams from streaks of green and blue plique-a-jour enamel. This is a technique where the enamel is applied in cells, so light can shine through the transparent or translucent enamel. Unfortunately the creator of this antique piece was not so familiar with this technique. He or she added small discs to almost each cell. Because of this not all cells are as see trough as they should be. Further some of these disc pop out of this little charm pendant. This protective medallion is crafted in 18k gold and hallmarked with a French eagle head.

This antique pendant carries the name 'J. Holy' and the initials AC on the front side of the medallion. Furthermore as mentioned before not all cells are still in very good condition and there is a small scratch/dent on the halo. On the back of this pendant we find the inscription Renée - 19 Juin 1930. Furthermore we can let you know that the cells look more pretty at the backside.
