This wonderful bas-relief brooch comes directly from the floral Art Nouveau period. Oval in shape, this lovely antique brooch represents an beautiful woman in profile, her hat adorned with small flowers and her dress made of a drapery. Two elegant dragonflies encircle her and bring life to this little piece of art. The dragonfly embodied many of the themes that the Art Nouveau style evoked: nature, sensuality and metamorphosis from one physical form to another. Furthermore, artists in the Victorian and Art nouveau period were inspired by the Japanese paintings of dragonflies reflecting the ability of light and joy to shine through. The brooch itself is encircled with small, detailled flowers and scrolls. The clasp is a pin with a safety hook.

This yellow gold brooch is tested for 18k gold and signed by the French Artist Armand Bargas. A. Bargas worked in Paris in the late 19th & early 20th century and was a member of the "Société des Artistes Français".

We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Napoleon III period during the late 19th century, also known as the late Victorian period. This collar brooch is crafted 18 K solid gold and features stunning geometrical decoration. In the center of this beauty, we find a half pearl set in a star-shaped setting. It is the center of a diamond shaped base with little handmade engravings. This geometrical center is flanked by 4 small dots, this whole is in turn encircled with an openwork representing blooming flowers, petals and scrolls. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds.

The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age. This antique brooch is equipped with a C closure and a long pin typical of late nineteenth century, since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. This light stunning brooch is hallmarked with a French eagle head mark.

For sale are these adorable antique earrings crafted during the Georgian era 1714-1830. These beauties are set with foil-backed rose cut diamonds, arranged in a flower formation. The gemstones are set in silver backed with gold as was typical at this time because jewellers believed that silver was the only material able to enhance the beauty of diamonds. We have to admit that it is a wonderful combination and a very recognisable combination to this Georgian era. The gold layer on the back was to prevent the wearers skin to turn black from the silver, very smart right? They bear no hallmark but we believe that they are of Dutch or Belgium origin with later replaced screw back in 14 ct yellow gold.

This lovely necklace is in good condition considering its age. Two of the hollow platinum beads have dents like shown in the pictures. We are happy to introduce you to this wonderful 1940's bracelet which stole our hearts the moment we laid our eyes on her. This 18 ct patina yellow gold bracelet is very abundant decorated, on top of that, all decorations are very well detailled. This joyful bracelet exists out of 8 shaped links that are placed next to each other vertically and connected with another line of vertical placed 8 shaped links. Polished cross like shapes adorn the central line of the bracelet. This beautiful and generous cross pendant is a real treat for the eye. This art deco pendant is fully set with diamonds that are all decorated and put in the spotlight by millegraine detailing and finishes which make them appear as one. The main shape of the cross is set with twenty-four single cut diamonds. These are all of SI-P quality according to the current 21st century standards, although this quality is the most common quality used for beautiful antique jewelry like this one. In total this cross holds approx. 1,6 ct of diamonds. 

In the center of the cross we find an old European cut diamond with SI quality and with an approx weight of 0,25 ct. This pendant has beautiful open-work parts. These arise because the main arms of the cross are flanked by extra thin lanes that are attached to the centre cross via geometric filigree decoration. The inner corners of the cross are in turn decorated with triangular shapes which are, like the rest of this jewel, set with hand cut diamonds. Each triangle holds six diamonds, all rose or single cut. These triangles provide its extra strong Art Deco look.

This stunning floral themed bar brooch is set with a bright blue sapphire, which give this beauty a strong and attractive appearance. Small but breath taking rose cut diamonds form a halo around this sapphire bringing the right amount of sparkles to this elegant brooch. On top of that, the whole bar is set with these lovely diamonds. 

A French eagle head is struck in the pin of the brooch, telling us that a part of this marvellous brooch was made in France out of 18k rose gold. This gold base is covered with silver. Goldsmiths from this era believed that only silver could hold beautiful stones like diamonds. Because this silver was able to render the real beauty of these diamonds. This fine antique brooch is a fabulous jewel of a fabulous beast. This 18K gold brooch has the horse head hallmark which reveals us this brooch is crafted in France between 1838 and 1919. This is the time Queen Victoria was the reign of England, since she was very influential, she also influenced the goldsmiths in France and other European countries. Therefore we can say this is an Victorian Brooch crafted in France.

The beast shown on the brooch is a wyvern. It’s a mythical beast which was very popular in tales told in the Middle Ages. It’s a biped legendary creature with legs which look like eagle claws, the head and wings of a dragon, a reptile body and a tail ending in the shape of an arrow. In contradiction to the most common dragons now a day, these wyverns only have two legs and don’t breath fire. In cultures around the Mediterranean this concept of winged snakes was very popular. During Victoria’s era, this creature was seen as a talisman against evil.

We are very delighted to present this stunning Art Nouveau charm. This elegant pendant is ornamented with elegant bows, small leafs and little seed pearls. This lovely handmade pendant is crafted in 18 ct yellow gold and set with a synthetic reds tone in the center of the dangling flower which brings colour and joy to this pendant. This lovely pendant has some smaller damages, like a little leaf that broke off on the top right. and a little clover petal that is bend. although this is not that visible when worn, we like to point this out. Regardless of that, this pendant is in good condition considering its age.
